I am pursuing b pharmacy final year and i want to know the scope of pg diploma in clinical research and its scope in india as well as in abroad.

Scope of PG Diploma in Clinical Research in India and in Abroad:

You may find good number of job opportunities after completion of this course in India and abroad. The basic eligibility criteria required for doing this course is Bachelor Degree or else candidates from Pharmacy, Life Science, Medicine or Bio science background.

The basic entry level position in this field is Clinical Research Associate (CRA). The starting salary would be around Rs.2,10,000 per annum and it gets increased to Rs.4,20,000 after 2 years per annum.

You may find good job opportunities in abroad based Biotech companies and Biotech companies that are in India. After completion of this course, you may pursue MSc in Clinical Research, Ph.D in Clinical Research ..etc.,

Critical research organizations are hiring candidates, who have life science graduation along with PG diploma in clinical research. Even some top IT companies have entered into this field.
There are jobs available in clinical data management and various lab related works, which is the part of clinical trials and new drug approval. It is a new field in India and foreign countries will offer a better scope.
