Hii.. I am a Diploma Students.. I am doing diploma in electronics and telecommunication. So can I become a Commercial Pilot after I complete my diploma..???

There are two ways by which you can become a commercial pilot. A candidate can join any private commercial pilot training center which is approved by the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation).

You can also become a commercial pilot by joining the flying branch of NDA or CDS. For this, a candidate is required to qualify for the competitive entrance examination on an All-India level. The examinations are conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

The minimum qualification required to become a Commercial Pilot is a candidate must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English subjects with a minimum score of 50% marks from a recognized board. The minimum age limit of the candidate should be 17 years and the maximum age limit is 60 to 65 years.

The required eligibility for CPL is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics and Mathematics with minimum 50% aggregate and the minimum age limit is 17 years.

Candidate also have to clear the medical test before obtaining the licence.

So, you are not eligible to apply for it on the basis of diploma qualification.
