Is there any entrance exam for Marine Engineering after completing diploma in Mechanical?


IS there any entrance examination for marine engineering after passing out in diploma in mechanical? If there is any how to apply for the exam? What would be the necessary steps which I need to take for this? Can someone guide me with the complete information?

Yes you can apply for any lateral engineering entrance test for getting admission in Marine Engineering Degree course. LEET is the entrance exam which is conducted for giving admission through lateral entry mode. This will allow you to get admission in 2nd year of the Marine Engineering degree course.

Every state has a lateral entrance exam for Marine Engineering course. For example, in West Bengal there is JELET which is conduct for admission in various engineering courses for Diploma holders.
