I am 19 years of age and preparing for 10th Board exam. After completion of my 10th, I want to do Diploma in Engineering course. And for this course I want to apply for an education loan. I also have a student account in IDBI Bank. So, I want to know about the age limit for applying an education loan in this bank.

Upper age limit to apply for Education Loan in IDBI Bank is upto 35 years for non-employed personnels and 45 years for working employees. You must be a citizen of India and have a secured admission to Diploma in Engineering course in recognized institutions to be eligible to apply for Education Loan in IDBI Bank.

For education loan, age is not important and there is no set age limit for it. You need to secure admission in the course, to apply for education loan. Hence, age limit will be there only for admission.

Hence, it will depend on the kind of course you are looking for. Just check with the eligibility criteria for the said course. If you can secure admission, then no need to worry about age.
