Sir,
I am a poor farmer. And my son want to
do B.Tech course. I am working in Mumbai
and my village is in Bihar. My son is
studying in 12th Science. I have no property in
Mumbai. But few property in Bihar.
So in this situation I get Education Loan for my son?

It is nice to see that you are looking forward to higher education of your son and allowing him to pursue education in his interested field. He can definitely pursue B.Tech course by availing education loan. There is no problem if you do not have property in Mumbai since you have property in Bihar and property is needed only in case of loan above 7.5 lakhs for nationalized banks (except SBI). If a loan of more than 7.5 lakhs is needed, then you need to mortgage property and at that time you can use your property in Bihar. Since your son is in 12th so ask him to study well and score a good percentage in 12th. Ask him to prepare well for the entrance exams of engineering course and get into good institutes of the country; it will be easier to get education loan in this case.
