Can I get exemption if apply in SBI Education Loan to study B.Tech being a SC candidate?
Hello Sir/Madam,
I am studying in 12th standard and I want to study B.Tech. I belongs SC category. I would like to know that if I apply for Education Loan from SBI then I can get any exemption against my category? |

You will not be provided any exemption because you are from the SC Category.
The benefit you get for belonging to the reserved category is that there are reserved seats in all the Government Colleges for the SC Category. If you are going to take an Educational Loan from SBI you will have no extra benefit. Exemption is provided to students who fulfill certain criteria that is set out of the Bank but there is no exemption provided to the Students as they belong to the reserved category. |
