Can I get scholarship to study PhD being an MSc(Chemistry) final year student?
Hello everyone, I am a final year student of MSc, studying with Chemistry. I belongs to an OBC category and I am looking forward to do PhD program. I just want to know that can I get scholarship to do PhD as I belongs to a poor family?

Those who have secured admission in a PhD programme are eligible to apply for scholarship.
There are various scholarships available for such students . The eligibility criteria differs for each scholarship. Those who hold first class post graduate degree with atleast 60% marks in both graduation and postgraduation. The age of student must not be more than 35 years are eligible to apply for Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship. The scholarship provides maintainence allowance of Rs 18000 per month and contingency allowance of Rs 15000 per annum. The application time is between December and May. |
