Differences between Botany & Bioinformatics.

Botany :
Botany is the scientific study of the physiology, structure, genetics, ecology, distribution, classification and economic importance of plants. Or we can say botany is the plant life of a particular region, habitat or geological period.

Bioinformatics :
Bioinformatics is the science of collecting and analyzing complex biological data such as genetics codes.

After M.Sc in bioinformatics you can play different types of job roles like :

1. Professor
2. Science Technician
3. Research Assistant
4. Bioinformatics Scientist
5. Bioinformatics Analyst
6. Junior/Senior Research Fellow
7. Research Associate
8. Bioinformatics Software Developer
There are many companies/institutes which are hiring M.Sc Bioinformatics holders,
National Institute of Genome Research, New Delhi
Transorze Solutions, Thiruananthapuram, Kerala
OMICS International, Hyderabad
Vishuo Biomedical Pte Ltd, Singapore
Asia Genomics Pte Ltd, Singapore & many more.

I hope this would be useful to you.
Thank You.
