Can my father apply for an Education Loan in Union Bank if having an NRI Account?
Hello, My father is working in Qatar from last 7 years. I am preparing for JEE Main and will study BTech soon. I want to take an Education Loan. I have an account in Union Bank. But my father also has an NRI account in Union Bank so he can apply an education loan?

Yes, you just need a guarantor, who can be your father itself. He should have regular flow of income to become eligible. Just make sure you have confirmed admission at any reputed university or college.
Once admission is confirmed, you can visit the bank branch along with your father to apply for the education loan. |
