Detailed information about Collateral Security in Student Loan scheme? Which Public Sector Banks doesn’t have collateral security scheme?
Sir, I have searched about education loan and heard about collateral security. I will do my MBA with student loan because there is no other option for me. But I am not familiar with the term of Collateral Security. What does this mean? Can you give me details? I would also like to know which Public Sector Bank haven’t terms and conditions like collateral security?

Borrowers can easily pledge 3 types of collateral such as
Immovable assets Intangible assets Third party secured education loan. No collateral security is required for loans upto INR 7.5 lacs. For loans above 7.5 lacs both collateral security and third party gurantee is required. Thus every banks ask for collateral and it depends on the amount , a candidate has taken. If amount exceed 7.5 lacs , then collateral security is required. |
