Does Banks denied Education Loan facility for Autonomous colleges?


Dear Friends,
I have cleared CAT and I have applied for MBA course in an Autonomous college. I have heard that Bank will not provide Education Loan for an Autonomous college. Is it true? I am not eligible for an Education Loan?

No, banks doesn't deny educational loan for autonomous colleges.

Generally the banks provide educational loan for only recognized colleges/ institutes. Also the course studying must be valid and recognized by AICTE/ UGC etc..,

As autonomous colleges are recognized under AICTE, one can avail educational loan. All nationalized banks provide educational loans for pursuing higher studies.
