Eligibility to apply for Jagananna Amma Vodi Scheme 2020


Hello Sir, I am studying in 12th standard and I came to know about Jagananna Amma Vodi Scheme. I want to apply for this scholarship this year. Can I know about the eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship?

Eligibility to apply for Jagananna Amma Vodi Scheme 2020 is given below.

• Applicant's mother/guardian should belong to the BPL household.

• Irrespective of the number of children in the family who are studying in Class 1 to 12, the mother/guardian will receive financial assistance.

• Family should have a white ration card issued by the government.

• Mother should have a valid Aadhar card or have applied for it and verified.

• Children of the beneficiary must be studying in Class 1 to 12 from recognized school.

• Mother or guardian must ensure at least 75% attendance of the children in their school.

• Parents and children should be the citizens of Andhra Pradesh.

• If child discontinues the study in the middle of the session of the academic year then he/she will not be able to avail the benefits of the scheme.

Those who are State or central government employee are not eligible for this scheme.

The following students will be eligible for the Amma Vodi scheme 2020 :-

1.The student must belong to below the poverty line category.
2.The student must be a permanent and legal resident of Andhra Pradesh state.
3.Student must have a working Aadhar card number.
4.The student must have a white ration card.
5.The student must have a working and eligible PAN card.
6.Beneficiary must be studying in class 1st to 12th in government or in private aided and private unaided school’s/ Jr. colleges including residential schools /colleges in the state from the Academic year 2019-2020.
7.The student must have at least 75% attendance in the current academic year.
8.A State Government Official’s ward is not applicable for the scheme.

Note - If the candidate is not having a white ration card then he must contact his village or ward volunteer and then he will have to go through a 6 filtration stage process and thus will be regarded as eligible or not eligible as per the village volunteer order. All the process must be concluded before the date of 30th November 2019.

Eligibility
Guardian should belong to BPL household
Irrespective of no.of children in family studying in class 1_12 , parents will receive financial assistance..

Should have white ration card
Mother should have valid adhaar card

Children must be studying in class 1_12

75% attendance is mandatory
Should be citizen of Andhra pradesh

Discontinuation in studies will lead to NO benefit from scheme..

State or central government employees are not eligible

If child is continue the study in middle of the session of academic year then he will not be able to avail the benefits of the scheme and state or Central Government employee are not eligible for this scheme.
