my aieee ranking is 87582 can i get seat? In which college chances are there?my state(karnataka) rank is 1727.can i get seat in suratkal engg college?

I am from Karnataka.My AIR ranking is 318851 and state ranking is 7543.Can I get the seat in NIT Surathkal

but by your state rank you might get nit surathkal but not good branch.....you may get there:
1>civil engineering
2>chemical engineering
3>mining engineering

you should go for some other nits.
because nit surathkal closed at upto 3000 state rank.

Yes you have some chances of getting a seat in NIT Surathkal with your rank as 1727 (state). But there is no certainty of your getting a popular branch in this college.This college is highly reputed, so you can try for this college till the last counselling.

WITH REFERENCE TO the above mentioned reply.....this karnataka rank you have mentioned ... is it the state rank alloted by aieee or its the rank given by karnatakas own state cetr?? really in big doubt?pls guide me as the nitk site speaks of only aieee to enter it

87582 air rank in aieee does not give you best nits...but through your state rank you might be get nit suratkal or not...after this you do not have good branch...you only get chance in mining engineering...
