Eligibility to apply for National Entrance Screening Test 2020
Hello Sir, I am about to apply for the National Entrance Screening Test of this year. However, I don’t know about the eligibility criteria. Please tell me about the eligibility criteria for applying in this screening test of this year. Waiting for your response!

Eligibility to apply for National Entrance Screening Test 2020 are:-
An applicant must pass the class 12th board examination or equivalent in the science stream in the years 2018 or 2019 or appeared in 2020 from any recognised Higher Secondary Education Board in India. An applicant must secure at least 60% in aggregate or equivalent in the class 12th board examination. An applicant must be born on or after August 01, 2000. An applicant must secure a position in the NEST merit list. Note - 1. For SC/ST/Divyangjan candidates the requirement is 55% aggregate. 2. For SC/ST/Divyangjan students the limits in age is relaxed by 5 years. |

You can check the eligibility for NEST 2020 here-
Candidate should be a class 12th pass in science stream from a recognised board in India with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and relaxation of 5% is given to reserved category students that is scheduled caste and PwD candidates. Candidate should have passed class 12th either in 2018 or 2019. Candidates who have appeared for their class 12th exams in 2020 also eligible to apply. Candidate should have studied a combination of three subjects- physics, chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. Age criteria- Candidate belonging to general and OBC category should be born on or after August 1,2000. Relaxation of 5 years is given to candidate belonging to SC/ST/Divyangjan category. |

NTSE 2020 Eligibility criteria-
The candidate who has Indian nationality and studying in 10th standard inside India or abroad is eligible. The awardees must secure a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade every academic year to be eligible for the scholarship. Reservation- There is 27% reservation in the total number of scholarships for students belonging to OBC. SC and ST candidates have a total of 7.5% scholarships reserved for them. And 4% of scholarships are reserved for PH and PwD candidates. |

Eligibility to apply for National Entrance Screening Test 2020:-
Candidates must have passed his / her 12th level exam or its equivalent from a recognised board or university. Applying a candidate should have secured Minimum aggregate of 60% marks. For ST/SC candidates, minimum aggregate marks are 55%. Candidates belonging to General or OBC category must have born on or after August 1, 2000. 5 years age relaxation is given to reserved categories. |
