Eligibility to get an Education Loan from Jammu & Kashmir Bank for Vocational courses?


Hello Sir, I came to know that Jammu & Kashmir Bank is providing an education loan for vocational courses. I would like to know about the courses which are eligible for getting an education loan in Jammu & Kashmir Bank. Please tell me asap.

Eligibility criteria for Education Loan form Jammu & Kashmir:-

1) Qualification:- Pursuing graduate/postgraduate degree or a PG diploma.
2) Nationality:- Indian
3) Age:- Minimum- 18 years .
Maximum- 35 years.
4) Academic record:- Proven- good.

Eligibility to get an Education Loan from Jammu & Kashmir Bank for Vocational courses?

The student should have secured admission in the approved courses at Masters, M.Phil, or PhD levels abroad.
He/ She should have availed loan under the Education Loan Scheme of the bank.
Education Loans sanctioned and disbursed from FY 2013-14 (i.e. from 01.04.2013) onwards will only be eligible for interest subsidy.
Presently the subsidy is restricted to the limits specified under IBA model education loan scheme i.e. Rs.20.00 lacs only.

Eligibility

The candidate applying for loan must be an Indian

Must have confirmed admission in a recognised institution

Must have age between 18 to 35 years

Must be undergoing a graduate/ postgraduate degree or diploma

Must have secured admission in a college or university affiliated by UGC/AICTE/Govt approved.

Those persuing full time courses need to have co applicant who can be either parent/guardian .
