List of courses which are not supported for Education Loan in India

To get educational loan in India, you need to take an approved course for graduation/post graduation degree and PG diploma conducted by a college/university recognized by UGC/Government/AICTE/AIBMS/ICMR etc.

List of courses that may have limited or no support for education loans in India:

1. Part-time or correspondence courses

2. Distance learning courses

3. Certificate or short-term courses

4. Non-academic or vocational courses

5. Executive or management development programs

6. Hobby or recreational courses

7. Unaccredited or unrecognized courses etc.

The courses which are Regular degree or diploma, technical, medical or engineering related, all are eligible for education loan.
Apart from courses, only admission in reputed colleges are eligible for education loan.
Thus there are variety of courses that comes under education loan category.
Very least type of courses come under the cateogary of non eligibility.

Short term courses
Non-degree courses
Courses that do not lead to a job.
