What can I do to get a Scholarship or Stipend if education loan interest rates are very high?
Sir, I am btech 1st year ECE student of a private engineering college in West Bengal.I passed madhyamick in 2007 with 88% from WB board & passed H.s in 2009 with 74.3%..I ranked 14448 in WBJEE in 2010.I come from a middle class family.I have an educational loan also.Its interest rate is very high.I become confound how can i pay college tution fees.Can I get any kind of scholarship?.PLZ REPLY WITH SOME POSITIVE ANSWER

I am extremely sorry to state that there is provision of scholarship for the bpl category students and SC/ST/OBC candidates in West Bengal. However, you can get scholarships from other organizations to support your study expense. It is true that the interest rate is high for education loan. However, it is computed as simple interest and you can pay the amount after you get job on completion of your B.Tech course. You can do online job to earn handsome money and support your studies.
