I am a BE student and i have taken education loan from Canara Bank and i have backlogs in 1st year will bank gives me loan for 2nd year? Will Canara bank gives loan for 2nd year even if i am having backlogs in 1st year ?

Yes, it is important to clear all previous semester papers for getting disbursement of the education loan amount for the upcoming semester/year and if you have backlogs in first year of B.tech. degree course there is a high possibility that your loan amount for the upcoming year will be put on hold till you clear your backlog.

But, you can still talk to the bank manager of your concerned branch giving a valid reason for your poor performance with an assurance that you will clear your pending backlog soon and your performance will be satisfactory in upcoming examinations and hope he/she approves your request.
