You have not mentioned what Polytechnic exam dates do you want. There are many polytechnic institutes in our country, and so you have to be specific in which state's exam do you want to sit.

However the Delhi CET for the Polytechnic has already conducted its exam and the results are out for 2011.

To be eligible for a polytechnic course you only need to be a 10th pass student. You should have scored 60% in your science group. 60% in 10 th will be good to start off.
Now after completing diploma you can choose to do job or you can go for b.tech as a lateral entry studentt.
Government jobs are very much available now a days after diploma.
Try your luck out there. On the other hand please complete your b.tech. Otherwise you will not become a bachelor student.
