Are 12th private candidates eligible to apply for NEET and join AIIMS?

I am 12th class private candidate. Am I eligible for applying in NEET and join AIIMS for MBBS? If not, then what should I do to become eligible?

All Indian 12th passed/appearing candidates are eligible for the NEET and AIIMS. There is no restriction for private or government school candidates.
