What to do after doing CFA program from ICFAI university

after doing cfa from icfai you will get job easily,not to worry about it .

you can also go fo mba for greater job prospect.

CFA course is actually customized for Indian market only and it does not provide an international view at all.

Sorry to say but this course does not even guarantee a job in India.

In my opinion you should aim for an I-Bank or MNC financial powerhouse. These two are the best option available to you after completing your CFA course.

The openings available to CFA degree holders are in Banking, Insurance, Corporate Sectors and Finance, Leasing Companies. Even organizations like Railways, Reserve Bank of India and Financial Institutions like ICICI, IDBI, IFCI and UTI have given due recognition to the CFA programme. Most ICFAI graduates receive offers for challenging professional positions with attractive emoluments. The career prospects are as bright as of any other in the field of finance. u better do some course in financial modelling and financial analysis......icfai is running its courses like a diploma mill. if u had completed american CFA, i bet you would have got interview calls from best places in business....
but knowledge never go waste, u can still find a decent job with it.

friend , the pay scale is immense for the pupil who pursue cfa course . It ranges from 20,000 to even a lac .

CFA refers to chartered financial analyst

the opportunities are much higher in countries such as usa, canada ... but for them you need to have a correspondence course for it or a distance course and for this you need to write an exam by going to kathmandu .

the exam is all need concepts and basic clear about the commercial economy

if you are interested in higher studies then you can go for mba or similar master degree . but if you are not interested in all these then be assured you will definetely get job and quite easily.

You need to think on the area which you want to pursue, if you are aiming to be in investment research (Equity/Debt/Quants), then this course will help you a lot. However, I would advice you to not quit your job to just to pursue CFA(either from ICFAI/CFA institute) as it will not guarantee you any job. You can do it alongside with your job. Also remember, if you have already gained significant exposure in banking operations, your move into Investment research considered as a fresher and hence if your are in middle management, I strongly advice you to pursue your career in Banking operations (may be treasury/forex/Financial analysis divisions). All the best for your decision.

With reference to your thread, I would like to know what can I do along with a CFA from ICFAI. I am presently working in C.A firm, doing CFA alongside. I am really worried. Please suggest.

CFA Course from ICFAI is nonsense. The course cannot even get you a job. One thing I learnt the hard way is.... never fall into the Insitute's marketing campaigns. They market it so well. In reality, no one cares about you being a CFA from ICFAI. Look at ICAI.

as u hv already cleared some of ur groups of cfa u can go ahead and try in some kpo or bpo's even as they have outsourced the client of banking and finanace..
