i am studying 3rd year BE in ece deparment. I like to have a secured gob like govt job. so please tell me do we have any cutt off for getting job in govt sector & how can we get the nofications of govt exams like exam date , syllabus,materials,etc.

You have completed your B-TECH in ECE.

So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also.

The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO etc.

Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS ,CTS ,IBM,HP,L&T, ALUMNUS ,WIPRO etc.

The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc.

But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because above mention organization have criteria .

Also you must be qualify in GATE ,CAT,MAT exam.

You should appear for Indian Engineering Service exam to get job in Indian Engineering Service exam.

Indian Engineering Service exam is conducted by upsc every year once.This exam is conducted to intake qualified engineers for Government sector in different departments.

Eligibility criteria for Indian Engineering Service exam:
Education qualification:
Candidate should minimum graduation degree in Engineering from a Mechanical/Civil/Electric Stream.
Age limit:
Age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Indian Engineering Service exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 25th Feb 2012 to 24th March 2012.
Exam will held on 15th June 2012.

thats great to job in indian railways as a executive post.
If you are aiming at joining the Indian Railways after completing your BE ECE course, you will have to appear for Railway Recruitment Board Exams held for selecting Section Engineers, Junior Engineers, etc. Indian Railways has already advertised a number of vacancies in 2011.

in railway there is so many technical exams, such as executive engg, signal engg, and so many R&D post in the railway.

dear friend, your are now final yeat student so next year you can apply for senior engineer , signam incharge post in RRB.
every year many RRB invite for varios post.
so just wait and after complete degree you can apply for varios category in RRB.

Yes,you can apply as the eligibility for IES is a graduate from a recognized university.Also your age should be 21-30yrs.

Indian railways conduct recruitment drives for section engineers, junior engineers,research engineers etc. for different engineering streams. Please check the site of Indian railways/railway recruitment board to know about recruitment advertisements.
