Mechanical Engineering is one of the best evergreen branch of Engineering. So, being a mechanical engineer you don't have to worry about job. As your marks in sixth is also very good. So definitely you will get a good job through campus placements. You will easily get job after completing your B.Tech in Mechanical engineering.

There are various sectors in India n which there is need of Mechanical Engineers. Mechanical Engineers are needed in Aerospace industry, Chemical industry, Electrical industry, automobile industry etc. Being a Mechanical Engineer you can get job in government as well as private sectors.

Eligibility Criteria for getting job in Public sector companies and core companies:-

1. You should not have any backlogs during your studies and completed mechanical engineering in full time mode.

2. You should have minimum 60% aggregate marks in B.Tech course.

3. You should have good technical knowledge.

4. Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years. There is some age relaxation for OBC, SC/ST candidates.
