Hello sir, I have completed BE with Mechanical stream from Osmaina University and now seeking for job in core companies of India. Please provide me list of companies along with procedure and available vacancies.

If you want to get job in Public Sector Undertaking and core companies of Mechanical engineering, you will have to clear Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Mechanical engineering candidates can get jobs in top PSUs like NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, GAIL, ONGC, IOCL etc on basis of GATE scorecard and interview.

Candidate who obtain good rank generally in top 50 of their stream in GATE exam are shortlisted for jobs in these PSUs and then PSUs conducts group discussion and interview for final selection of candidate. You must apply for GATE exam and clear it with good rank if you want job in top PSUs.

In case of private core companies like Tata motors, Maruti Suzuki, Ford Motors, Hyundai etc, you will have to clear aptitude round, technical interview and HR interview for final selection. Number of vacancies is known when notification for job is released.
