Eligibility:
a) you should have any Bachelor’s degree or any other equivalent course from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with a minimum 55 % marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern b)you should study at-least two subjects, to be later taken as the teaching subjects at the bachelor’s degree level with minimum 50% marks. c)you should study at least two subjects at the bachelor’s degree level,which will you take as the teaching subject. So,if you are eligible then go for the following colleges :- 1) A. G. Teachers College,Ahmedabad 2)Department of Teacher Education Shibli National College 3) Adarsha Shikshan Mandali's Adarsha Comprehensive College of Education and Research,Pune 4) Abhay Yuva Kalyan Kendra's College of Education, Dhule 5) Aadivasi Seva Sahayyak & Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha's Shri. S. H. Naik College of Education, Nandurbar etc. |

I have done MA in English from RBU,DDE and have secured 51.75%. I want to pursue B.ed and ph.d too.Am I eligible for it? is there any University in Kolkata where i could pursue them through distance. I am work in a company so it is tough for me to leave it.
Kindly give some suggestions. Thank You. |

Those candidate have completed graduation or post graduation from recognized university are applicable for B.Ed course.
Your graduation or post graduation marks must be hold above 45% . For SC/ST candidate this marks is decreased to above 40% marks for only distance B.Ed course. Only Arts and Science departments are eligible for B.Ed course.There are some institute provide B.Ed course for B.Com and BBA candidates. There is no age criteria so any one who holds the above criteria are eligible for B.Ed course. Every university conduct their own entrance exam for B.Ed candidate selection. i am a graduate in biotech from amity university(82%) and post grad. from Pune university but i don't have any teaching experience can i apply for b.ed ? if so which are the universities that do not require a teaching experience as an eligibility criteria??

Eligibility for Bachelor of Education through Distance Learning Degree Programs Candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the course. In some of the institutes it is compulsory for the students to have at least 45% marks for taking admission to this course. At least two years of work experience is also essential for one to join a reputed distance learning institute. The course offered is a perfect blend of theory and practical form of education. I am persuing B.Com Hons. III year along with teaching English at a primary grade. I have a work experience of 3 years and I wish to become a lecturer of English language. I also want to go for M.B.A(H.R). Do i take an M.B.A regular degree and go for B.ed correspondence?

The minimum duration for B. Ed. through distance education is two years, however, the maximum duration is five years. Admission to the distance mode program is merit-based. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in the undergraduate program in any discipline and 55% in postgraduate program
