How to prepar for gate 2012 in life scinces for botany..?

hi......i m second year ECE student and gate aspirant...plzzz sm1 guide me is it too early to start preparing for gate or is it d right time???? plz sm1 help me soon

i passed btech in E.E.E in 2009..now i m working in dubai.i have a strong feeling to appear for gate2012.so i need to know the best books to study..also the best ways to cover the whole syllabus..i m in obc category.pls tell how much should i get for an admission in kerala..i m a keralite....plss

.its always better to start from the 3rd year as the GATE syllabus is mostly from the 3rd and 4th year syllabus..coaching wont be an advisable thing as i know that there is practically nothing for about 5 miles near ur college..
take up the study material of a coaching institute preferably MADE EASY..studying from the study material of a coaching institute will let u know the exact course of GATE
but if you are really desperate then
.I have suggest you some good books which will really help you.The name of the books given below.....

1. GATE 2012 by G.K.Publishers.
2. GATE 2012 by Handa.
3. An Introduction of GATE 2012 by Gini Publication.
