if your rank lies within the top 6000 then you can expect a good branch of you choice ........so prepare for the best......

Expected SRM EEE 2010 Cutoff will be made available on 2 MAY 2010.SRM EEE 2010 Answer key will be uploaded on 2 MAY 2010.
SRM EEEE 2010 cutoff marks will be calculated on the basis of various factors like paper level, student views, previous year analysis.

The cut-off of various courses for SRMEEE ranges from 150-170, subjects like ece and cse will require about 170 marks and all other courses like mechanical, civil, biotech, etc will require a minimum of 150 marks in the SRMEEE.
also you must get atleast 60% in the 10+2 level to qualify for admission in SRM university.

Hi friend

Admission in SRM University is done on the basis of an independent exam called SRMEEE(SRM-Engineering entrance exam). This exam is held every year in the month of may. Application forms are available from december onwards.

Paper pattern:

The SRMEEE exam is of 3 hours duration.
Physics, Chemistry are the two compulsory subjects while there is an option between Maths and Biology. Each subject carries equal weightage of 105 marks each. Physics, Chemistry and Maths contain 35 questions each whereas Biology contains 50 questions.
Each correct answer is for +3(for PCM) and each wrong answer fetches a negative mark of (-)1. There are no marks for unanswered questions.

The Usual Cut off to make it to the counselling round is 150 marks out of 315.
Aeronautical engineering course is the most wanted course by toppers so the cut off will be around 180 marks for the main campus(Kattankulathur campus). Cut off marks for the other campus will be relatively lower(165-170)
