>> If you have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% where Physics, chemistry and Biology should have been prime subject and also did diploma of 2 years, you can directly take admission in third year of the B.Sc Optometry.
>> EYECET is a centralized organized entrance examination for the entry/admission in optometry course. >> You also need to develop some additional personal skills to become Optometrist like manual dexterity, self discipline, good vision, dedication towards work etc. |

Re: Admission in B.Sc Optometry is possible after 2 years Diploma in Optometry?
Yes, you are eligible to study B.Sc optometry because the eligibility for studying optometry is 10+2 or any equivalent examination in science stream/ mathematics/ physics, chemistry/ biology from any recognized board.
Since you have done diploma in optometry you can get admission in any college. Some colleges conduct entrance test for admission and some colleges directly take admission based on the previous year performance. The diploma in optometry will help you in your graduation because already you have basic knowledge about optometry you can easily get through the exams and you'll be having a good command on optometry. |

As per my knowledge you are eligible for b.sc in optometry after completion of diploma in optometry. Candidates who have completed intermediate in science or it's equivalent from a recognized institution are eligible to pursue this course. Thanks

Yes you are eligible to pursue B.Sc in Optometry after completing Diploma in Optometry. As because Diploma is also equivalent to Intermediate degree. Both are 2 year degree course. But one important thing is that your institute or college should be recognized otherwise your certificate should not be valid.
