The main procedure for the Lateral entry scheme is the written examination. Those who have completed their diploma in engineering should attend the written examination. You should apply for the lateral entry exam. The selection for the graduation course will be mainly based on the score that you have secured in the written examination. Also the lateral entry scheme helps you to directly get in to the second year of the engineering course.
