Admission Procedure for Teacher Training Course (TTC) from Loreto House:


The TTC is a two year course for those aspiring to become primary school teacher. It is recognzied by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

- The minimum qualifications required are a class XII pass certificate (minimum aggregate 50%) from a recognized board- English medium.

- The candidate must have completed and passed Maths and Science at class X level. Graduates are also considered.

- Upper age limit is 35 years.

- It is important that those applying should have a good grasp of written and spoken English.

The admission form and prospectus are available in the TTC office, at the time of the Entrance Test.

If you wish to apply for the course then you need to follow the procedure and here it is :

• Write an application (in your own handwriting) addressed to the Principal, Loreto House, TTC Department, 7, Middleton Row, Kolkata-700071

• Enclose your Bio-data and an attested photocopy of the X and XII mark sheets and school Leaving certificate along with the copies (Attested) of class X and XII school Report Cards.

Do not attach Original Certificate and other documents

• Drop your application letter into the box provided on the 3rd floor TTC Department, in the college building.

IMPORTANT DATES 2018 FOR TTC ADMISSION

- Submission of application : 3rd week of October,2018- November, 2018

- List of the eligible candidates to sit for Entrance test: 2nd week of December,2018.

- Entrance Test : 1st week of January, 2018

- Final list of selected candidate : February, 2018.

The course begin in the March, 2019. The fee structure changes every year. So, regarding fees you need to contact the Loreto House Office.
