Re: Advice for cracking IIT JEE?
IIT-JEE is one of the best engineering entrance exam in india. it is considered tough to crack. there is no any shortcut to crack IIT-JEE. you can't think to study only 2 or 3 month before exam and crack IIT-JEE. you need hard labour for at least two years continuously to crack this exam.
if you have just passed class 10th then i will recommend you to join some kind of coaching.if your financial condition is good then you can join coaching like -RESONANCE ,CAREER POINT, AAKASH INSTITUTE and many more. but if your financial condition is not good then you can give the entrance exam of SUPER 30 and after cracking it ,you can take admission in it. if you don't want to go to coaching then here are some books which you should read in order to crack IIT-JEE : (1)PHYSICS: ERODOV, H.C verma(concept of physics), NCERT of class 11 & 12th (2)CHEMISTRY :NCERT of class 11 & 12th, PRADEEP ,DINESH (3)MATHS: R.D SHARMA, R.S AGGRAWAL, PRATYUSH KUMAR NCERT books are best as is advised by experts. alongwith this (1)practice previous year papers (2)take part in online preparation test to check your preparation |

Re: Advice for cracking IIT JEE?
You shuold do the following:
1) Practice as much as u can 2) Speed for doing question with right approach 3) Accuracy in solving the problems. 4) Never cram the things, always TRY TO UNDERSTAND the problem or theory. 5) And BE CONFIDENT while you are preparing. NEVER LOSE CONFIDENCE. 6) Always keep contact with intelligent students who are also going to appear for IIT exam. 7) Always study anything with GREAT INTEREST otherwise it will be of NO USE. 8) Clear & enhance your concept. 9) Build the concept apply concepts properly & practice regularly. Refer the following books: 1) MATHS: R.D.SHARMA (for theory and practice) and PURUSHOTTEM KUMAR-OBJECTIVE (it must be for practice) 2) PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY: BHARTI BHAVAN PUBLICATIONS 3) ORGANIC CHEMISTRY: NCERT 4) INORGANIC CHEMISTRY: NCERT 5) If you are taking coaching from somewhere, then prefer that notes also. 6) PHYSICS: H.C.VERMA (part 1 & 2 both)(for theory as well as practice) Best Of Luck.......... |

Advice for cracking IIT JEE.
$ Attend your lecture regularly $ Don’t waste time in making decorative notes. $ ake sure that each and every concept taught in class or read in book is clear to you and you can apply $ Do only 50-60 problems per chapter ,but do quality problems which needs application of different concept. $ Do only 50-60 problems per chapter ,but do quality problems which needs application of different concept. Things to keep in mind one day before the examination: You need at least 6-8 hours of sleep before the examination to keep yourself fresh while solving questions. Eat a light meal so that you do not feel drowsy or lethargic during the paper. Revise only those topics that you have studied earlier. Do not start reading any new topics just before the examination, since this will be a waste of time and you may lose the information you have already grasped. You should reach the test center at least half an hour before the exam and if you haven't seen the center before, then you must go and visit the center on the day before the exam. |

Similar methodology needs to be followed while giving the exam. Also, dont try to mug up those chapters which you do not understand. In less time make your stronger areas more strong. Hope this helps out. Regards Prerna |

for cracking iit jee exam, not only hard work is required but strategy is also required for preparation. you must first study from ncert books to clear your concept. after that i will suggest you to study from tata mcgraw hills for maths d c pandey for physics arihant for chemistry you must also for once try to solve all the previous years question papers to get the knowledge of pattern and difficulty level of the exam. while solving the sample papers, never see the solution directly. first try to solve the questions by yourself two to three times. if then also you fail, then see the solution. you must remember these tips to get good result. good luck. |

Re: Advice for cracking IIT JEE?
For cracking jee entrance first of all you wil have to make a time table.you will have to make this time table by takng in mind one thing that u should also take some time to play games and doing other things also. But if u only study and do not play this will effect ur studies.another thing is that u have to clear ur doubts time to time. Keeping these things in mind u will definitely crack jee.
