I have completed btech frm cse nd i wanna do mtech
i wanna dat after clearing the GATE exam i can get admission in iit's or not

After the gate results comes out.check that u having a valid score card.wait for admission notification.check the concerned iit gate cutoff previous year.assess ur position and download the form and deposit the fee with form.wait for merit .

yes .. depends upon your rank..
worst case, you will get nit atleast.

so only clearing the gate score, you will not get chance in the IITs.

you have to get good percentile in gate exam.

you have to get above 98% in gate.

and you have to get within rank 1000 in gate.

then only you can apply for IITs.

not only gate, then you have to give a interview to get chance in IITs.

You have completed your B.Tech degree from CSE (Computer Science & Engineering) department and if you have a good score in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and all India Rank is good which means you will get good colleges like IITs.

See generally two main factors are most valuable for GATE.These are :

1. Total number of candidates appeared in this year of exam and
2. Highest marks obtained in your department i.e.CS.

According to these GATE score of a candidate varies.

Besides this, Counseling is also a very important factor because if a candidate has scored well in GATE and the candidate did not get admission in this year as because he in 3rd year , so in this case a 4th year passed out student can take admission.

But don't worry if don't get chance in IITs then surely you will get chance NITs if you have a good score in GATE.

Good marks means out of 100 you have to get minimum 40 and above.

You can take your admission onto the IIT after GATE examination.But for that you will have to work real hard to secure a good score so that you can get IIT.

Here I'm giving you the details for IIT :

You will have to score 70 to 80 to take your admission in IIT.
But if it is not you can take your admission into general good colleges.

If you have cracked GATE exam , now your score is your weapon. So it matters the most. If you have more than 96 percentile, then yeah very surely you can get admission in the esteem IIT's for M-Tech.

But below that, IIT's would be a bit difficult though not impossible. But other good institutions like NIT's of various states, BITS pilani etc come in the picture. These are also not bad, when it comes to reputation and the record of placements they hold. So you can go for them also.

Lastly, if you wish to work you can also approach and apply in many PSU (Public Sector Undertaking companies) like RRB, BSNL, ONGC, NTPC, NHPC etc. and once you crack their interview, your life is set.

In order to do M.Tech from IIT..you need to score above 600 marks or 95 percentile in GATE..

Below this..it is going to be slightly difficult for admission into any of the IIT..

The competition is really tough so you need to prepare well and work hard..

The other reputed colleges in which you can take admission for M.Tech through GATE include NITs,BITS,IISc,etc..

I have also attached a few sample papers for GATE CSE..

Do practice them and you will have an idea of the pattern as well as the level of the questions asked..
