Sir,

I want to do NDA, but I want to know after NDA what is next?
I want to do engineering in electronics/AE,
Will NDA will provide further studies in engineering?

it depends on your interest in the army,if you are really eligible candidate then army will provide you chance to pursue your field,
there are many army colleges in India for people like you only,who are interested in studying engineering ,and the education imparted by the army is the best

if you clear the NDA exam then the National defense academy will provide you the education in engineering of your choice of field.......

if you clear the NDA exam then there is no need for further study........so concentrate fully on the NDA exam and clear the interview......

the Indian army does provide some students to do graduation in engineering,but for that first you have to clear nda and after that you have to clear the respective entrance exam for that course,
also there is quota for Indian army students in some college like there is 5% quota in IIM ,BANGLORE,you can make use of these offers

hey what is the need for doing engineering after completing your NDA................as if you have been selected for NDA training they will provide you with the engineering studies for 4 years ........so just concentrate on youe NDA training.........

yes there is possibility of doing engineering after NDA.but it is suggestion that it won't help any more.so focus either on engineering or NDA.

Try to solve NCERT books
Physics-mechanics,electromagnetics.
Chemistry-physical chemistry.
Maths-calculus,algebra.
Prepare accordingly.
you will crack nda.

i do not think because after completing the NDA your age limit will cross the ligibility criteria..

And you need not to do engineering after NDA because you will get the job after completing the NDA.

Hello,

Once you get selected in NDA, all your education needs will be taken care of by the NDA itself.
They will see if you have the aptitude and are capable, and then accordingly you will be trained and educated.
If they feel that you are capable and can handle engineering studies, you will be taught the same. If not, your luck.
So do not worry about all that, just prove your mettle.

i have to prepare for NDA exam in 1 week. i am done with 30% course.and i am thinking to do some technical work in national defence academy. engineering or any other technical stuff. i am in 12th standard with the following subjects- physics , chemistry,maths,economics , english.

you can do engg after becoming officer through NDA.

officers gets study leave for higher education.

After being selected in NDA examination, The armed force that u will be in, will automatically let u to pursue ur graduation that is required for the post. They themselves bears ur graduation expenses.

sorry to say, you can't give the NDA after your btech.

as minimum age limit to attain in NDA exam is 17-19 year.

but a student can complete his btech degree minimum within 21years.

so you can't do nda.

its better to do engineering after that you can sit cds exam which is same as nda.

Its great to know that there are so many responses to this question but none of them is fully right.
Recently, I have been an Instructor at NDA. I would like to throw light on the Fact that at NDA we provide Graduation in Science, and Arts only for Cadets of ARMY, NAVY, & AIRFORCE. After completing training at NDA, the Cadets go to the Respective Academies for Pre Commission Training for a period of One Year. After getting Commissioned the Officer may go to Technical Side of the Forces like in ARMY he may get commissioned into Signals, EME, Engineers etc. Once Commissioned in a particular Technical Branch, the Officer is then Sent to undergo a degree in Engineering in a subject specific to the Branch. Even Infantry Officers can now go for Engineering Courses but there are very few vacancies.

After clearing exam like NDA there is no need for further study.
But NDA will provide chance of further studies.

you are getting the admissions to the most stable job and you have a lot of official duties

you should first complete your responsibility towards the nation

As you are going to appear in NDA exam, and you have a doubt regarding your higher studies, then my friend let me tell you, if you able to clear the NDA exam, then you will get an opportunity to pursue the higher studies from the Academy..
They will provide you all the facilities to pursue your further study..
So, don't worry about it..
Just concentrate on the NDA exam..

After clearing NDA you have to go through 3.5 years engineering course about defense.So you need not to study engineering from outside.Beside your study period you will receive scholarship and after completing you will be posted according to your position.Details you can get http://www.indianarmy.nic.in/

And will the syllabus will be same as that of any other engineering colleges in India, or will i be taught defense-related engineering only?

I am 2nd year dipolma student from electronic and communication. Can i give NDA Entrance test. What are the scope in it? Can i do degree in ENGG. In my feild.

there is no such necessity of doing btec in nda firstly you have to clear the entrance exam of nda which is held by upsc and then depending upon your qualities ssb will recomend you, then you could get a chance of doing four year btec course alongwith all the physical and mental training.
