I have born in 2001 and this year 2022 for UPSC CSE exam am I eligible or not?

The cut off date with respect to age limit as on 01st August of year in which you are appearing for the examination.
So, if you are born before 01st August 2001 then can appear for the examination. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

Yes you will be eligible for UPSC Exam 2022, if you are at least 21 years old. This is because the 21 year old candidate is eligible for this exam as per the age criteria of UPSC exam. The cut-off date for UPSC Civil Services Examination is 1st August.
The age qualification criteria for different categories of students in UPSC CSE are ° General Categories : maximum 6 attempts, Age limit 21-32 years. ° OBC Categories : maximum attempts 9, Age limit 21–35 years. ° SC/ST Categories : Maximum attempts - no limit, Age limit 21–37 years. |

Yes, you are eligible to apply for UPSC Exam 2022.
Age criteria should be:- The candidate must have attained 21 years of age and should not exceed 32 years of age as on 01/08/2022. General- 32 years OBC- 35 years SC/ST- 37 years |

You have not mentioned the exact date of birth ( i.e - month and date).
So, it is not possible to give you the correct information but you can check your eligibility on your own. Candidates born before 01st August 2001 and after 01st August 1900 are only eligible to appear in 2022. There is relaxation for reserved category in upper age limit. The age criteria for appearing in the Civil Services Examination held by UPSC and hence often known as UPSC examination is 21 years to 32 years as on the 1st August of that year in which the examination is being held. Upper age limit relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates.

To be eligible for appearing in the Civil Services Examination often known as UPSC examination, age of candidate must lie within 21 years to 32 years by the 1st August of that year in which the examination is being held.

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) minimum age limit to apply is 21 years and the maximum age limit should not be more than 32 years of age as of 1st August 2022. There would be age relaxation as per the category.

Candidates must have attained 21 years of age and must be less than 32 yrs of age as on 1st August 2022.
For General it's 32 yrs For OBC /SC/ST 37 yrs Disabled defence Service personnel 35 yrs. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline to apply for exam. |

The acronym UPSC CSE stands for Union Public Service Commission Civil Services examination.
