Age limit for 3rd standard as per CBSE rule?


Hello, My child age is 6.8 years old, so is he eligible for admission in 3rd standard according to CBSE age criteria? Please answer.

Age limit for 3rd standard as per CBSE rule:-

The correct age of the student should be between 7 years 6 months to 8 years 10 months to get admission in the third standard as per the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education.

The directorate of state Education Board which determines the age limit criteria for the respective state.
So, you can visit the concerned office or for the detail information about the admission procedure.

No, official notification with respect to age limit criteria has been released by CBSE.

It is the Directorate of State Education which determines the age limit criteria. So, visit the official website of concerned authoritiy or the school to get detail information.
