i will be probably getting rank in or above 15000 in aieee .kindly suggest me aieee colleges with this rank . i am interested in doing B.E in computer science or in aviation ... Please help me out..

15,000 AIR in AIEEE is good enough for getting into NIT's,IIIT's, Institutes of National Importance and any other good government as well as private institute.

15,000 AIR in AIEEE is very good score, it is equivalent of Ranking 10,000 in IITJEE.

Here for explaining the I would like to tell you the Importance of ranking within 15,000 AIR in AIEEE.The candidate who has scored 15,000 or within 15,000 in AIEEE,and within 10,000 in IITJEE and even after this he/she will not take admission to B.tech/B.E. courses and opted for B.sc,then he/she are eligible for some of eminent scholarships like- A special scholarship awarded by PM Manmohan singh of worth 80,000 per annum, for persuing upto M.S. or M.sc.

Besides this KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna) etc.

hey pooja i am sorry to but i donr think that you will be getting admission in some NIT's as you AIR is very high............for getting admission in NIT's you score should fall under 5000 AIR...........

the selection process of jaipur lnmiit is as follows :-

LNMIIT will consider both the AIEEE All India Rank as well as the performance in IIT-JEE to make the admission decision. At least 200 admission offers will be made based on the performance in IIT-JEE and similarly, at least 200 admission offers will be made based on the AIEEE rank in the first round.

Boys within top 10 ranks and girls within top 20 ranks in senior secondary exam of 12th class conducted by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education are eligible for direct admission.
Only those students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English in 12th class will be considered for admission through this route.

so now if your iit score is also good then you will definitely make it to this college

If you are scoring between 140-160 in AIEEE 2010, then probably your rank will be between 15,000-17,000 and with this score gettinh into NIT's or IIIT's is tougher but not impossible.

Just wait fro result to be out and appear for councelling on time.

At this marks you can get AIr around 5000-6000. So there are chances of getting most of the NITs except Surathkal, Trichy and IIT Hyederabad but it doesn't mean that you are not getting good colleges. There are no. of other NITs, BIT and some IIIT. SO you can get a good college with a good branch of course.
It is bit difficult to write all the possible colleges and the branches that you can get.
I would advise you to go through the Opening and closing rank of AIEEE colleges of last year.

Very tough to get Admission, but not impossible.

You will get admission to some private institute.It also depends weather 1,00,000 is your AIR or state rank.

But dont wrry you will get admission to private Engineering college.

I dont agree with Faiyaz here. With 140 to 160 maximum rank maximum you can expect is 37001-44000.

With this you cant expect good NITs and IIITs. But definitely you can try for some other colleges which take AIEEE rank like PDPU which is a great college.

But still predication's are predictions just wait for the counseling and keep your fingers crossed

You have performed very well in all the Entrance exams.

IITJEE: After a small Analysis I found that Expected cutoff for getting Rank within 10,000 in IITJEE would be something near about 180. So, if you are getting 170 you can not expect IIT's. Be sure that this is analysis and after the Problem arise in IITJEE this year anything would happen. Cutoff may be decreases also or else, in which you have hope to get there.

AIEEE: After a small analysis I found that Expected cutoff for AIEEE 2010 for NIT's would be near about 200-220, so you can expect NIT's for ECE.

VITEEE: You rank here is 6194 have no idea about it, cant say anything if possible or not.

ENAT: Yeah if you are getting Rank between 800-1200, then probably your score must be greater then 135 so you can expect ECE here, but not Freeship.

well dear friend you can get a lot of colleges above the rank of 15000 those are govt colleges and they accept students with more than 15000 AIR rank dont worry there are some NIT's as well as IIIT's which can accept students above 15000 rank and dont take tension and hope for the best and let your rank come and thn decide which college to opt and which colleges do you get during counselling..

For your category, the closing rank in NIT, Nagpur for CSE is 14850, ECE it is 13755 and for EEE it is 16868. These are the All India Ranks not the category based ranks. So from your All India Rank you can get an idea about your chances.

Actually dear it is not a good rank to get admission in different NIT's,IIIT's,BIT,Meshra & so many top colleges.
But according to your rank you will get a chance to get admission in several state engg.colleges which will take some students as per AIEEE rank.
just like in WB you will get Techno India,RCCIT,HIT,St.Thomas Engg.collge etc.
