sir, i want to know till what rank in aieee i can be selected in bit mesra ranchi and what is required 12th percentage . from when will be online form fillup start.

You will be required to give bitsat for getting admission into bits mesra.....

For getting into BIT mesra ranchi your rank should be below 10000 all india rank. and less than 100 state ranking.
Try to get manage the rank within this.....This is highly reputed college..so getting admission into this is quite tough.

if your rank is less than 6000. then you can get admission in bit mesra. its ranking is 2nd in all private institutes. thanking you

The qualification for admission in BIT mesra is same as required to apply for aieee. There is no separate criteria.
The application procedure will start in the month of december.
The exam will held in the last week of april and result publishes in May last week to Jun 1st week.

It is bit difficult to explain the cutoff exactly because there happened 7 round of counselling so you must visit the central counselling board website to get details about all the round of counselling. An AIR 5000 is in safe zone. Actually, The afterward rounds of counselling allotment depends on the no. of students in a particular who quit after being alloted a seat.
The seat allotment in different rounds of conselling can be seen at the following website.

You will have to enter the counselling round no. and Institute name at the website and then you will get the information.

dear friend,

if you want to take admission in BIT meshra,ranchi(Jharkhand) then your all India rank should be within 10000.

on the basis of this all India rank you can get admission in BIT meshra,ranchi.but if you want to take computer science and engineering branch then your all India rank should be within 5000.

for taking admission in BIT meshra,ranchi your marks in 12th board should be at least 60% aggregate.

the online form will be available after march 2011.

Buddy there is no such admission criteria where you can get admission through BITSAT where one of our member stated above.

To get admission into BIT Mesra AIEEE rank is required. More is the better

So if you get in top 10,000 then you can surely get a seat in BIT mesra

You have to get a rank of 8000 for getting a seat in BIT Mesra for the desired branch and upto 12000 rank you may get a seat for sure but not the exact branch that you wished for. AIEEE rank is must for BIT Mesra admission and it is not through the BITSAT exam.

u should work hard to get in to bits mesra.
u have to consentrate on ur fundamentals..and ur maths ,phy,and chem..

ur rank should be under 10000 ie allindia rank and ur state rank should be under 100 to get it..

to get admission in BIT Meshra,you have to secure all india rank under 8000.

Also, to get admission in BIT Meshra, you have to pass your +2 exam with marks

greater than equal to 70% in aggregate.

Following is the list of aieee ranks needed to get admit into BIT Mersa,Jharkhand :-

A) For Bio-Technology :-
Gen :- Between 25,000 and 27000
SC :- Between 80,000 and 85,000
ST :- Between 1,00,000 and 1,10,000

B) For Civil Engineering :-
Gen :- Between 20,000 and 25,000
SC :- Between 73,000 and 76,000

C) For Computer Science & Engineering :-
Gen :- Between 8,000 and 15,000
SC :- Between 35,000 and 55,000
ST :- Between 40,000 and 57,000

D) For Electronics & Communication Engineering :-

SC :- Between 30,000 and 40,000
ST :- Between 40,000 and 50,000

E) For Mechanical Engineering :-
Gen :- Between 17,000 and 25,000

Gen :- Between 45,000 and 60,000
SC :- Between 80,000 and 95,000
ST :- Between 1,10,000 and 1,30,000


For admission into BIT Mersa Ranchi you need to score at least 60% in PCM in 10+2 standard.

Couselling will start from 11 th September,2010.

bit mesra conducts their own exam for admission in btech. the exam is called bitsat exam. you will have to crack that exam to get admission.
or if you want to take admission through aieee entrance exam then your rank must be below 10000.

Maximumu 10,000 rank is compulsary for get admission in BITS,mesra.

But you can take seat at BITS through BITS entrance exam BITSAT.

The percentage required In +2 for Entrance test and for admission at BITS is 65% aggregate. Good wishes.....

You could not get good rank in AIEEE. so acc. to me you can go for counselling.
But don't worry you can go for other deemed universties directly through AIEEE rank.

Friend, BIT Mesra is the best private institute and its ranking is 2nd among the all private college in india. It take admission from AIEEE. If your rank in aieee is between 1 to 5000 then you have a chance to get BIT Mesra. Do hard work for cracking BIT Mesra. all the best.

You will have to acquire 10,000 rank in aieee for taking admission in BITSAT.
The minimum percentage for appearing in aieee is 50%.
