Birla Institute of Technology is a deemed University and is conducting admission process for admission into this recognized University. Institute is also providing scholarship’s in BIT Gulf Campuses. Applications are invited for admission into BE courses offered by the University. Limited number of scholarships is available for the meritorious candidates desirous of pursuing full time BE programs. BIT is located in Ranchi and is conducting this admission process for the meritorious candidates.
Birla Institute is an autonomous Engineering and Technology Institute established in Ranchi. It is popularly known as BIT Mesra. The institute is run under the direction of a Board of Governors, Government of India, the U.G.C. and the State Government. The academic program of the institute is updated following the demand of corporate world by following the direction of the Technical council. The institute provides world class teaching facility to its candidates. It has provided well experienced and highly qualified teaching faculty member to them who give their best. It has well stocked central library providing all sorts of books.
The institute is located in the green lush area of Mesra which is 16 kilometers from Ranchi. It has covered a big area of 780-acres near the rivers Jhumar and Subarnarekha. It provides excellent residential facility for 3200 graduate and undergraduate students, under the guidance of 550 faculty members. The campus of the institute is pollution free and creates a peaceful surrounding for the teaching and reading. It has world class infrastructure in the form of various buildings like class room, Administrative Block, Cafeteria, Auditorium etc. Today the institute has become one of the best destinations for the aspirants.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidates must have completed senior secondary level with 60% aggregate to fulfill the eligibility criteria from any of the recognized board.
• Candidates must have completed this level in Science stream to be eligible for this course.
• Candidates must be more than 17 years of age.
• Candidates who have qualified AIEEE or JEE can apply.
• Candidates who belong to the reservation categories as well as defense background enjoy a relaxation of up to ten percentages in the eligibility criterion percentage.

How to Apply:
• Application on plain paper with copies of X and XII mark sheets and AIEEE/ JEE scores should be sent.
• Candidates who are interested in obtaining their respective application form through post have to forward a requisite letter to the concerned authority along with a Demand Draft drawn in favor of the registrar of the Institute.

i got 150 marks in jee main and 70% in 12th cbse board.can i get bit deoghar?
my name is rohit,i have qualified aieee and my marks in aieee are 78 and i got 137393[air],my obc category rank was 36861 and i completed my intermediate with 91.3%,my 10th class marks are 530[88.4%],i am from andhra pradesh ,would i get any seat in bit mesra ranchi,for Msc chemistry,physics or maths? if i am eligible please sent the details of fees including hostel with mess. i hope you will respond with this message and sent these details as early as possible!
