in AIEEE only overall score matters.
its only in JEE that individual cut off is to be cleared. |

Re: In aieee, what are the minimum marks reqiured in each subject?
Paper - I Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Objective type questions with equal weightage to Physics & Chemistry 360 - 3 Hours
Paper - II Mathematics – Part I,Aptitude Test-Part II & Drawing Test-Part III Objective type questions,Objective type questions,Two questions to test drawing aptitude 340 - 3 Hours. this is the exams pattern, you have to just qualify the exams. you will get admission according to your rank. |

Re: In aieee, what are the minimum marks reqiured in each subject?
there is no such cut off marks required for qualifying AIEEE exam as in IIT JEE the
whole thing is based on overall marks obtained and rank is decided on that basis. So my dear friend command on any of your favorite subject and crack the Competition Better Luck |

dear friend
yes there is a certain cutoff determined by the AIEEE authorities to be eligible for central councelling. but it is not fixed it changes every year. and the cutoff is an average of the PCM marks generally the figure is 50%. take care |

Re: In aieee, what are the minimum marks reqiured in each subject?
In AIEEE, your ranking matters more than the marks scored by you, moreover, there is nothing like minimum marks in each subject, as only your total marks matters.

Re: In aieee, what are the minimum marks reqiured in each subject?
Hello,
Kindly make it clear, that there is nothing such a minimum marks, it all depends on your rank. The higher you score, the better rank you get, and then better college. So dont worry about the minimum marks, but perform well to secure higher grade. Good Luck!! |

Re: In aieee, what are the minimum marks reqiured in each subject?
Dear friend,
in AIEEE the minimum marks required is not fixed since it is competitive exam.the cutoff is variable and it depends on the type of paper and the competition among the students.but still if you want to have an edge over others you have to score atleast 45 to 50% marks. All The Best!!!! |

Re: In aieee, what are the minimum marks reqiured in each subject?
dear friend,
your question is not so clear.but i can understand it. yes, there is certain minimum cut off marks in each subjects. it is fixed by the exam authority by observing the average marks obtained by students. so you have to pass this cut off marks. after summing all the marks of three subjects again a cut off is fixed for appearing at counseling. all the best. |

Re: In aieee, what are the minimum marks reqiured in each subject?
Dear friend
do not be confused. It is very clear that to appear in the AIEEE exam , there is criteria that you must have marks greater than equal to 55% in aggregate. To qualify in AIEEE(to get admission in B.Tech) ,you have to give the test for the three subject named : 1.Math 2.Physics 3.chemistry The pattern of the exam is objective. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and total marks is 360 . You will get college according to the rank obtained by you in the exam. Best of luck. |

Re: In aieee, what are the minimum marks reqiured in each subject?
You just need to be a pass out from 12th with PCM as your main subjects to be eligible for the AIEEE exams.
Its tough to predict the cut off for each subject since it keeps changing year after year because the candidates appearing for the exam keep increasing.Because of the reservation system there is individual cut off for each category. I can give you the overall rank system in the AIEEE exam conducted in 2010 i.e If you score is above 145 then your rank will lie between 40,000-50,000. If you score is above 175 then your rank will lie between 20,000-30,000. If you score is between 195-250 your rank may lie between 5000-20,000. all the best |

There are no cutoff marks, try to get marks as much as possible, because this would be very helpful for your admission and stream chooseing... 30-35% marks is secure for that, and 45% Marks is very effective to get a chance... |
