Sir, may I know if I am eligible for Aiims mbbs entrance exam 2016 or not? My DOB is 5 November 1999. I will attain the age of 17 years before 31 December 2016

AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Science. This institute conducts its own entrance exam for admission in MBBS course.

Eligibility criteria:

The academic qualification for this exam is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 10+2 board exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.

Candidates must attain age of 17 years on 31st December, 2016 for AIIMS 2016 exam.

You will complete your age of 17 years on 5th November, 2016. So, you can apply for AIIMS 2016 exam.

The minimum age limit for candidate of any category on 31st December of year of examination should be 17 years for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam.

Since your date of birth is 05th November, 1999, you can apply for the 2016 AIIMS exam. Other than age criteria, you must have done 10+2 with PCB subjects along with English.

At present, AIPMT application is going on, you can apply for it, you are eligible for this exam also.

Please have a look on eligibility criteria for AIIMS 2016 MBBS exam :

- Interested candidate must have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent exam with subjects English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized Board with 60% in case of General and OBC category candidates (50% in case of SC/ST category candidates)

- Candidate must be a citizen of India

- The age of candidates should be 17 years on or before 31st December 2016.

So, yes you can apply for AIIMS MBBS exam in 2016.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR AIIMS 2016 MBBS EXAM:

- Submission of application form will begin from : March 2016

- Last date of submitting the application form : April 2016

- Admit can be downloaded from : May 2016

- AIIMS MBBS exam date : 29th May 2016

Yes, you are eligible to appear for AIIMS MBBS examination which is conducted by AIIMS every year.
