my AIR is 454545 and I belong to Andaman and Nicobar Island can I get seat in NIT Puducherry.

its starts from near about 5000-26000.
you can get seats at above ranks only in 1st counselling.
2nd counsellings takes students at more above ranks.

Who the hell is this guy comparing NIT Jsr with NIT Silcher.NIT jamshedpur is one of the best NIT and oldest REC,it's a pleasure to be a part of it, if u want to made admission in this institute then ur Air should be within 20000.

arey bhai hamare time pe to 6000 Rank ke bahar NIT milta hi nahi tha,tum logo ki to mauj hai 14000 pe NIT mil ja raha hai masti karo yaarooooo!!!!!

Max 20,000 for Civil etc. , 14k for mech, 15k for electrical and so on. (Required ranking increases every year by 1000 for now as seats are increased). Agar padhna chahte ho jsr mat join karo, agar aise hi achha plcmnt chahiye to WELCOME. Placement is quite good in CORE branches.

Getting admission into nit jamshedpur is not a joke, it is one of the best college in jharkhand. If your overall rank is below 6000. You should not even dare to think about it. It is a government college. getting admission into bit mesra is even easier then getting admission into this college. So you have to score high marks.

So please don't ask such a stupid question.
