Am I eligible to appear for KCET Counselling after passing the PUC supplementary exams?


I have passed in 2nd PUC supplementary exams. Now, am I eligible for KCET Counselling? When would be the Counselling held? Can I attend it directly or I need to register first?

KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) conducts entrance exam KCET for admission to various courses. For participating in KCET counselling, you must register for KCET. No direct entry in KCET counselling. Counselling is started 6th June onwards.

KCET Registration Dates
- Registration Starts : 1st February, 2019
- Last Date of Registration : 30th March, 2019
- Download Admit Card : 16th March, 2019
- KCET Exam : 29th, 30th April and 5th, 18th May, 2019
- KCET Result Declaration : 25th May, 2019
- KCET Counselling : 6th June, 2019

KCET Registration Steps
- Visit official website : www.kea.kar.nic.in
- Enter 13 digit 'student number' assigned by PUE department.
- Fill the basic details of registration and click on "Submit" button.
- Fill application form correctly and carefully.
- Upload images of photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression.
- Make a payment of application fee.
- Take a print out of application form for future reference.

Counselling Process
- Students will be called for documents verification based on merit.
- Verified students will get secret key and certificate submission form.
- You can login to the official portal through secret key and lock the choices and preferences.
- Seat allotment will be given as per merit ranks, preference of students and availability of seats.

Document Verification Dates
- Rank 1 to 2000 : 6th June, 2019
- Rank 2001 to 5000 : 7th June, 2019
- Rank 5001 to 10,000 : 10th June, 2019
- Rank 10,001 to 20,000 : 11th June, 2019
- Rank 20,001 to 30,000 : 12th June, 2019
- Rank 30,001 to 45,000 : 13th June, 2019
- Rank 45,001 to 65,000 : 14th June, 2019
- Rank 65,001 to 85,000 : 15th June, 2019
- Rank 85,001 to 1,05,000 : 17th June, 2019
- Rank 1,05,001 to 1,25,00 : 18th June, 2019
- Rank 1,25,001 to Last Rank : 19th June, 2019
