Am I eligible for appearing in NET (Mass Communication) exam completing Graduation in Physics and P.G Diploma in Public relation and Advertising?


Hello Sir, I am a graduate in Physics and have also completed P.G Diploma in Public relations and Advertising from Kerala Press Academy. Am I eligible to appear for Mass Communicaton NET exam?

No, you are not eligible for UGC NET exam because you have completed post graduate diploma course.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

Can I appear for net exam in the subject : mass communication and journalism if I have pursued my Masters in advertising and public relation?
