I have completed my 12th from Arts stream and scored 82%. I am looking for government colleges in Punjab for doing BA and which specialization in BA would be best in terms of job opportunities? Further, am I eligible to study BCA from Punjab University?

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application. The minimum academic qualification required for BCA course is 12th passed from a recognized board with English as one of the compulsory subjects. Intermediate arts stream candidates can apply for BCA course from Punjab University.

After BCA, there will job opportunities in private sector. But for government jobs, you will have to clear competitive entrance exams like SSC CGL, IBPS CWE, UPSC exams etc. MCA after BCA can help you get the most suitable jobs in private sector.
