You have mention that you are in final of M.A. You can apply for NET exam because final year of post graduation student can apply for NET exam.

NET exam conducted by CBSE two time in a year in month of june and december for jrf and assistant professor. Notification comes in month of april and october.

To apply for this exam candidate should have post graduate degree with 55% marks. Those candidate who have in final year they also can apply for NET exam. Relaxation for reserve candidate as per government rules.

Age should be for jrf is maximum 28 year but there is no upper age limit for assistant professor.

There are three papers in NET exam. All question will be objective type. There is no negative marking in this exam.
