With the B.E. qualification you can't become Assistant Professor in IITs, not even in any
other government engineering college.

You must finish masters in a suitable specialization, then you would become eligible to
apply for lecturer posts in IITs depending upon call for application.

The best way to become a professor in an IIT is GATE.

You should apply and qualify GATE so that so you could get admission in M.Tech. or
M.Tech.+Ph.D. dual degree course in an IIT.

If you get M.Tech. course but you manage to work very well during M.Tech. then Ph.D.
from the same college would not be a big issue.

After completing Ph.D. in the college you will definitely get option of getting absorbed
in the institution as a Lecturer/Asst. Professor.

Is MSc M.Tech without qualifying NET JRF is eligible for assistant proffesor in iit or other engineering college?
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
