You have completed 12th standard with PCB so you are eligible for B.Sc in Zoology.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with PCB from a recognized board are eligible for B.Sc in Zoology.

No. Sorry to inform you, you are not eligible for B.Sc Zoology after completing 42% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Candidate must have minimum eligibility for this course an intermediate (10+2) in science with least 55% marks to get admission to any of the reputed institutions.

The minimum eligibility for doing B.SC in Zoology is 10+2 pass from recognized board with at least 55% marks in order to get admission in any of the reputed institutions of India. The aspirants also needs a minimum marks in the entrance exam conducted by institution to get admission into the desired course.

As you have mentioned that your percentage in 10+2 is 42%, to be very frank its very difficult to get admission with such a low score. But you can try may be on the basis of entrance exam you might get admission in B.Sc zoology course.

** For your kind information i want to tell you that a candidate must have to score at least 55% (General) marks in the 12th standard for getting admission in the B.Sc Zoology.

** If you are a SC candidate you are then also you are not eligible for the same course as the minimum percentage for the SC candidate is 45%.

** So my suggestion to you is that you should apply for the improvement in your 12th exams for getting minimum percentage for the admission.

** Your course duration willbe of three years.

Yes you can do B.Sc zoology course after 12th PCB course even if you have 42% marks.

Eligibility for B.Sc course :
1. You must have complete 12 th from a recognised board.
2. There is no upper age limit for doing B.Sc course.
3. There is no marks percentage required in 12th to do the course.
4. In 12th you must have taken biology, physics and chemistry subjects only or its equivalent course.

After finishing you B.Sc you can do M.Sc , B.Ed courses or you can write the government exams like
1. Group exams
2. IAS
3. IPS
4. defence etc

It's depend on Institute's eligibility criteria.Some Institute allowes admission only for more than 50% whereas Some Institute allows admission for more than 40%.
