I have done BCA from Sardarsahar univ (Distnace degree) with 65% marks.
Am i eligible for bank PO??

Yes. You are eligible to appear for Bank PO Exams as you have scored 65% of marks in your BCA course.

The selection procedure for Bank PO Positions will be by
-Written Test
-Interview

Some Banks will also conduct Psychometric profiling test and Group Discussion as a part of selection procedure.

Have a look over the required eligibility criteria to be eligible for Bank PO Exams.

-A candidate should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.
-Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also appear for Bank PO Exams but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when the appear for Interview

Age criteria :
-A candidate of General category should be in the age group of 21-30 years.
-Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category.

From the previous academic year, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is conducting Common Written Exam for the recruitment of PO positions to 19 public sector banks.

P.O.-PROBATIONARY OFFICER exam conducted by SBI and IBPS for recruitment of P.O. in bank as per bank's requirement time to time.

IBPS-INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONAL SELECTION conducts P.O. and Clerk exam for 19 Public Sector banks.

The candidate having completed Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with 50% marks within the age of 20 to 30 years is eligible to apply for P.O. exam. There is upper age relaxation for reserved category candidate.

The selection of P.O. is through written exam followed by Personal Interview.

As a BCA Graduate having secured 65% marks you are eligible to appear for Bank P.O. exam.

IBPS conducted BANK PO exams every year to recruit students for PO service..

Eligibility for BANK PO exam:---------------------->>

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university.
2.Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam.
3.Candidate has to secure 60% aggregate through out the career.
4.Candidate must have attained 21 years of age and must not have complete 30 years of age..
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.
5.Candidate must be a citizen of India.
6.Candidate should be computer literate.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
As you have done BCA course with 65% aggregate then you are surely eligible for the exam..

So, get prepare for the exam...
The notification of IBPS bank PO exam 2012 is yet to be announced..

It is does not matter that whether you have done your graduation (BCA) from distance education or from regular university/institution as far as your university is recognized.

your BCA from distance education can not create any problem as far as this University/institution is recognized.

If you have not yet inquire about the university than first of all go and search whether your university or institution is recognized or not.
