Sir, I am just from Commerce field and I have done B.Com and M.Com, but I just want to do PhD in Mathematics. So, can I do MA or M.Sc in Mathematics? Will I be eligible for PhD in Mathematics after completing MA or M.Sc in Mathematics?

The very first thing I would like to let you know that to pursue Master's degree in Mathematics one is required to have completed Degree Course in Mathematics or equivalent.

So, having completed B.Com followed by M.Com degree course you are not eligible for pursuing Master's degree course in Mathematics as Mathematics as a compulsory subject is required at bachelor degree course to be eligible for pursuing post-graduation degree in Mathematics and thereafter PhD in Mathematics.
