Sir, I did my B-Tech in Electronics & Communication in 2008 & working in a IT company. Am I eligible for M-Tech in mathematics, if I cleared GATE. Can a B-Tech(ECE) passed out candidate eligible for M-Tech in Mathematics course.
kindly also tell me list of colleges where I can do M-tech(or M.sc) in Mathematics & what are the exams I have to qualify for that. Kindly reply.

For doing M.tech you need to write gate and yes if you clear once GATE you can do M-Tech in mathematics......
Eligibility for GATE Exam:

• **either Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture
• **either Master degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications
• **either Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology

only these candidates can apply ..

i am doing btech ece in 3rd year now.is there any possibilities to join mtech-mathematics field and i want that courses in tamilnadu (i.e near pondicherry area) and also i want the fees structures in that corresponding area and also i want the nit,iit fees structures also.how to join the course.what are the step to join.
